Description: Located on an estuary, this 500 acre nature reserve provides a home for a huge range of ducks, swans, geese etc.  There are several hides where visitors can stop to observe the wild birds. If you've forgotten your binoculars, you can hire some at the centre. Other attractions include the Millennium Discovery Centre, which has lots of interactive displays and a maze.  From Easter to October you can explore the wetlands area on a bike - the centre can provide bikes and bike trailers for toddlers.  Children aged 5 and over can go on a canoe safari (they must be accompanied by an adult); this activity is available from Easter to September at weekends and during local school holidays.  Visit the Estuary Cafe for home-cooked food with a view - or make use of the picnic tables if the weather allows.
