Description: The world-famous Gleneagles Resort - best-known for its championship golf courses, is a truly family-friendly hotel.  The hotel has a wide choice of excellent restaurants, and children's menus are available in the Strathearn, Deseo and the Dormy Clubhouse.  Extra beds for children can be placed in the larger rooms or suites. There's a wide range of activities for all the family - golf being the obvious one, of course, but also a well-equipped spa, numerous sports and country pursuits.  Activities for younger ones are taken very seriously too - the hotel even has its own children's leisure co-ordinator.  Older children might want to have a free round of golf (up to 2 under-15s can play free when accompanied by a full fee-paying adult), or they can spend time at the Zone. Younger children can visit the beautifully equipped Playroom, where they will be cared for by qualified staff.  During main school holidays there's a programme of extra activities for children of all ages - from tea parties for tinies to football academy or spy school for tweenies to an introduction to polo or a skincare session for older children.
