Description: These lovely gardens designed by "Capability" Brown are beautiful in all seasons, with daffodils and bluebells in spring and azaleas in summer, but they are probably at their most spectacular in autumn when the colours of the trees are really vibrant.  The beautiful house can be seen from the gardens, although not open to the public (now being private homes) - but it makes a great photo. The central feature is the series of lakes and waterfalls, so you do need to keep a close eye on your very young explorers. There is a family-friendly tea-room next to the car-park (not owned by the National Trust), serving lunches and snacks.
