Description: Penshurst Place & Gardens makes a wonderful day out for all the family - with the beautiful manor house, toy museum, historic gardens, tea room and adventure playground there really is something to please everyone.  The oldest parts of the house date back over 600 years, with other parts added during the 16th century.  It is magnificent (particularly the Baron's Hall), yet homely at the same time.  The toy museum is home to a collection of dolls houses and many other toys.  Allow plenty of time for the adventure playground, as it is quite extensive, with parts suitable for tiny ones, and other parts for older children.  The tea room has very good facilities for little ones, with plastic bowls etc for children, a microwave and a bottle warmer for customer use to heat up milk or a pot of baby food.  Open: 28th February - 29th March: Saturday & Sunday 30th March - 1st November : Daily Admission: Adult: £8.50 Child: £5.50 Family: £23.00 [2 adults & 2 children] Child under 5: free of charge We love: the excellent play area - something for children of all ages
