Description: One of the best-known historic gardens of Sussex, Nymans has a wide collection of plants offering interest throughout the opening season.  There are woodland walks and a wild garden as well as the famous walled garden.  A small part of the house is open to visitors.  The gardens are accessible for pushchairs, but a sling or baby-carrier is useful if you want to go in the part of the house open to the public.  The plant shop here is particularly good, and there is a general gift shop too.  Children's activities are organised through the year.  The restaurant serves the high-quality light lunches, cakes and other refreshments you can expect from the National Trust.  In the restaurant you'll find an activity area for children.
