Description: These gardens make a great day out for all the family. Wander through the diverse group of gardens, from the Apothecaries garden to the Double Walled Garden. The Great Glasshouse holds an amazing collection of threatened plants from parts of Australia, Chile, California, South Africa and Europe.  Children will particularly enjoy the dipping ponds and the children's activity centre. The Seasons Restaurant uses organic, local and fairtrade ingredients as much as possible in the meals served there.  In the summer you could choose to eat at the Mediterranean Cafe (closed in winter) which is housed in the Great Glasshouse. Light refreshments are also available at the Gatehouse Coffee Shop, which you can go into without going into the gardens.  Open: Daily: 30th March - 26th October : 10.00 - 18.00 27th October - 30th March : 10.00 - 16.30 [Closed Christmas Day] Admission: Adult: £8.00 Child: £4.00 Senior: £6.50 Family: £19.50 [2 adults & 2 children]
