Description: This vast museum will keep children amused for hours.  The museum is divided into distinct areas, including the Power Hall, the Air & Space Hall and the Station Building.  You may want to spend quite a while in each building - this is the sort of place where you could easily spend a day.  If you have less time, it might be best to visit just one or two of the buildings and see the others another day.  In the main building don't miss Xperiment,a hands-on area, which caters for children of all ages, from tiny tots up.  You will also find interactive items on display in other parts of the museum.  Enthusiasts run steam trains at weekends - a real delight for any toddler.  Enjoy a meal in the Loft Restaurant or a snack in the Recharge Cafe - or when the weather is fair, take a picnic.  Open:  Daily: 10.00 - 17.00  [Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year's Day] Admission: Free of charge for all ages
