Description:
This fascinating Tudor mansion makes a great day out for the family.  Discover the history of the house, which was originally an Augustinian Priory and was lived in for over 800 years.  There are seven acres of delightful gardens to explore, including a kitchen garden and a physic garden.  In the grounds you will find a working watermill where most afternoons you can see the flour being ground.  Sample the flour in the bread and scones served in the licensed restaurant.  The priory has the longest medieval water-filled moat in England, and you may see swans, ducks, and even kingfishers there.
