Description: Covering a vast expanse of land - 42 hectares - it is hard to believe that this wildlife-rich environment is just a 25 minute journey from central London.  All sorts of ducks, swans and geese can be seen here - and of course the types vary through the year, with birds migrating to and from the country.  Free guided tours are held every day, and you can watch the wardens feed the wildfowl.  The visitor centre houses the Water's Edge Cafe, which serves light meals and refreshments.  All floors are accessible with a pushchair via the lift.  Open: Daily: Winter - 25th October - 28th March: 09.30 - 17.00 Summer - 29th March - 24th October: 09.30 - 18.00 [Closed 25th December] Admission: Adult: £9.95 Child: £5.50 Senior: £7.40 Family: £27.75 [2 adults & 2 children] Child under 4: free of charge
