There's something about ducks which
children just find irresistible - so this place is sure to be a winner with
little ones. Here you'll see plenty of ducks, and all sorts of
waterfowl - wander round outside, or observe them from one of the hides.
There's a chance to do pond-dipping - very popular with children. If
you visit during the colder months (which is when you'll see most, because
of all the visiting birds), you'll probably be glad of the refreshments and
light meals available at the cafe - or in summer make use of the picnic
area. Wild swans are fed daily at
11.00 and 14.00 (October - March) |
