This delightful working farm in the Sussex
countryside is a great place for tinies and older children alike.
There are lots of animals to see in the barn - from traditional farm animals
such as pigs and cows to the more exotic wallabies. Children have the
opportunity to go into the goat enclosure to stroke the goats (note the
number of children is limited to three at any one time, so you may have to
wait during busy periods, e.g. school holidays). The adventure
playground is vast, but divided up into different areas, making it quite
manageable to keep an eye on your children - and there are lots of sit-on
toys for various ages, including tractors and pedal go-karts. The
outdoor and indoor sandpits will keep children amused whatever the weather.
There is also an indoor play room for babies and young toddlers. If
all of this activity makes you and your little ones hungry, visit the tea
room where there is a very reasonably-priced children's menu with nutritious
dishes, and a selection of light meals and cakes too. |
