The seals are one of the major attractions of
the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary in Oban. Each year around 20 rescued
seals are taken to the Sanctuary, where they are cared for, and prepared,
where possible, for rehabilitation back into the sea. The other
"must-see" for many children will be the otters, particularly at feeding
time. There are also many indoor tanks displaying a wide variety of
fish and other marine life - including crabs, lobster and anemones.
The Sanctuary occupies an enviable position, overlooking Loch Creran - and you can enjoy the views from the restaurant. |
