	This grand old hotel is located right by the railway station in York - very convenient for those travelling by train, and a real treat for toddlers, who all seem to love seeing trains! The hotel also has guest car parking - not always easy to come by in York! - and pretty gardens. Excellent food is served in the restaurant and bar/lounge and the quality of room service meals is very high. Rooms are spacious, so you can have a few toys on the floor without creating an obstacle course for yourself (unlike in some hotel rooms!) . Staff have a very welcoming attitude towards families.
