The museum at Penlee House
traces the history of West Cornwall from the Stone Age through to the
twentieth century. In the galleries you will find exhibitions which
change through the year, with its main theme being local historic art.
Another fascinating exhibit is the photographic archive, where you can view
on computer some of the thousands of photographs of Cornwall dating from the
1860s to the 1960s.
The cafe serves light lunches as well as
afternoon teas. |
