The aim of Nature's World is to
demonstrate some more sustainable ways of living, from organic gardening to
water conservation - all done with a touch of humour (look out for a chance
to see the most dangerous creature on the planet!). There are all sorts of
small gardens to wander through, showing different styles of gardening, for
example a forest garden and an apothecaries herb garden. Visit the
hydroponicum to see plants being grown without soil. There are
children's play areas, a maze, and a model of the Tees and surrounding
areas, including a small version of the famous Middlesbrough transporter
bridge. |
