This excellent museum houses items dating
from prehistoric times through to the 20th century. Some of the
primitive axes which were found in London in recent times date from as early
as 350,000 BC! There is something to interest all the family in this museum,
with exhibits ranging from paintings and pottery to clothes and toys.
Little ones are sure to be enchanted by the Lord Mayor's Coach, which looks
as though it has rolled straight out of a fairy tale. |
