Locomotion is the new sister railway
museum to the National Railway Museum in York. There simply wasn't
enough space in York to house the vast collection of engines, so if you're a
train buff, go to Shildon to see even more exhibits, ranging from very early
steam engines to more recent diesel and electric locomotives. There is
a play area for children. |
