We're big fans of preserved railways
- children love them, and they make a great day out for all the family.
This charming railway runs between Keighley and Oxenhope, with six
beautifully restored stations on the line, including Oakworth, which is
featured in the 1970 film of the book 'The Railway Children'. There
are baby-changing facilities at Keighley, Oxenhope and Haworth stations.
At Keighley you can connect to mainline trains. Fans of the Brontė sisters should alight at Haworth for a visit to the Brontė parsonage, home to the family for many years.
