Don't expect to find a typical open farm here -
after all, wallabies are hardly a traditional farm animal (at least not in
the UK !). However, Heaven Farm does make a great day out for little
ones, and there are some more familiar creatures, for example, chickens and
ducks. The Nature Trail takes you through woodland with various things
to see, including a "Millennium " waterwheel and the wallabies. The
Stables Tea Rooms serves a range of light meals and cakes, and has a large
outdoor seating area too. There is also a museum tracing the history
of the farm, which dates back to the 14th century (note the museum is not
open every day - see details below). |
