	Set in 150 acres of farmland, this hotel occupies a delightfully peaceful location, with the beautiful scenery of Snowdonia very nearby. Inside you will find a choice of lounges and an excellent restaurant, which has been awarded two AA Rosettes. There are board games available to borrow - or make use of the more active leisure facilities which include an indoor swimming pool and gym. Staff have a welcoming and relaxed attitude towards children, so it was no surprise to find quite a number of families staying when we carried out our assessment. A rather nice touch is that instead of "Do Not Disturb" cards to hang on the doors, each room has its own cuddly toy dog, which goes down well with the children. If you do not wish to be disturbed, simply place the dog outside your door! (Dogs are available to purchase at reception if your little ones get really attached to them during your stay!)
	Other notes: We have not noted pushchair access as good, as there are some steps within the hotel, e.g. some guest rooms have a few steps up or down to the door, but it is not a vast hotel and in most cases it would not be necessary to use a pushchair inside the hotel.
