Learn all about the life of Captain James
Cook at this excellent museum located in the Marton area of Middlesbrough,
where the famous navigator was born. The museum is an ideal size for
children - not too overwhelming - and has been designed to appeal to young
explorers with lots of interactive displays and exhibits to give an idea of
life at sea in Cook's time. The museum is housed within Stewart Park,
where there is a play area and there are also animals to see, as well as the
lovely parkland to enjoy. |
