This museum is the perfect place for
train enthusiasts of all ages - and there is plenty for children to do here,
with interactive exhibits. Here you can learn about the history of how
steam engines were made - all housed on the site of the former works.
You can even walk underneath an engine! - or stand in a cab for a
simulated drive (ideal for older children). There is a play area with
crayons and train pictures where children can spend a few quieter minutes in
between exploring the engines and large displays.
Allow around half a day to really make
the most of your visit here. |
