Description: You'll have a great day out with the family at the Devon Railway Centre. Ride on the narrow-gauge railway and the miniature railway, stroll round the model village, spotting things as you go, and don't miss Gnomans Land - we've never seen so many gnomes in one place!  There's also a children's play area and crazy golf.  If the weather is wet, it is still worth a visit - inside some old railway carriages there are lots of model railway layouts to see - you can push buttons to make the trains move, and still more carriages house lots of different play areas for children, including a really big wooden railway and an indoor sandpit.  The tearoom serves light lunches, cakes and other refreshments.  Open: May & September: Wednesday - Sunday June: Tuesday - Sunday July & August: Daily October: Saturday - Sunday Also open during school holidays and on Bank Holidays in April, May and October There are also Santa Specials during December - see the railway centre website for full details Admission: Adult: £6.40 Child: £5.10 Senior: £5.30 Family: £20.30 [2 adults & up to 3 children] Children under 3: free of charge
