Description:

A lovely woodland nature walk, farming museum, lovely tea room and excellent organic shop are what you'll find at Heaven Farm. Children love seeing the chickens running about. There aren't any other farm animals, but you can learn some farming history at the museum. Even if your children are reluctant walkers, they'll probably be happy to follow at least some of the trail as there's lots to look out for, including wallabies, wildflowers (the bluebells are just outstanding at the right time of year), the site of Roman ironworks, and a water wheel. If you walk far enough you will also cross the Greenwich Meridian timeline. If you're a camper, make use of the the small campsite here (advance booking recommended) - all year round for caravans, and for tent pitches from May to October.
