Description:
Travelling by plane can be both exciting and boring for young children, so it's not always easy. Knowing that the airport has the facilities you need helps.  At Heathrow Airport you will find baby-changing before and after security at all terminals.  There are family-friendly restaurants with children's menus, and shops selling items you might need, such as nappies, wipes, formula milk and baby food.  At Terminal 4 the 4Deck Lounge is a great place to keep little ones entertained, with toys, games and magazines, as well as refreshments available.  In Terminal 3 older children may want to visit the supervised Jetterz Kids Club Lounge, which is for 5-14 year-olds.  This lounge has a DVD player, TV, books, toys and computer games.  Note that there is a charge payable for admission to the lounges.
