Description:
Children love this museum, which is home to a wide array of trams, buses, steam engines, cars etc.  There are boards and interactive displays  providing information about the exhibits, and you can climb on board one of the steam engines.  On the mezzanine level there is a fascinating exhibition of ship models which were built by the ship makers for prospective customers.  Display boards trace the history of ship-building on the Clyde, through its rise to being the leading ship-building area in the world and its subsequent decline.  Visit the cafe upstairs where you have a great view across the display of vehicles, or bring your own food to enjoy in the picnic area.
