Family-friendly Places in Devon
A favourite with many people for family holidays, Devon has beautiful countryside, picturesque towns and villages as well as wonderful sandy beaches. On the north coast you find the more dramatic waves of the Atlantic (perfect if it's surf you're after), or head to the south coast, which is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The lovely coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Exmouth, Torquay are just a few of the ideal destinations for families to be found in Devon. Inland explore the gorgeous scenery of Dartmoor and Exmoor. If you feel the need to shop visit Exeter, where you will also find a choice of family-friendly restaurants and activities for families.
