Description:
Clumber Park is a vast estate of parkland including woodland areas, farmland and a large lake (the path around it is a 4 mile walk).  There are lots of wildfowl to see - and feeding the ducks seems to be a timeless attraction for children.  There is no house, as this was demolished last century, but there is a chapel and a walled kitchen garden to visit and you can walk around the old estate village of Hardwick (privately occupied).  Cycle routes are laid out around the park.  Bicycles with child seats are available for hire.  The restaurant has a children's menu and facilities for babies, including a bottle warmer.
