Description: This magnificent house is set in beautiful gardens and landscaped parkland, providing lots of space for little ones to run around - with the added attraction of a large adventure playground.  The house dates from the 17th century and houses collections of porcelain and silverware as well as having some beautiful wood-carving.  There is an excellent activity room which will capture the imagination of younger visitors.  Here children have a chance to play with the type of toys   available to previous generations, and to dress up in Victorian costumes (and parents can too!).  A family guide pack and children's quiz are also available.  You can use a pushchair in the grounds and restaurant, but not inside the house.  Baby-slings are available to borrow.
