Description:
This Gertrude-Jekyll inspired garden is well-worth a visit for the keen gardener and non-gardener alike.  Few could fail to be enchanted by the beautiful rose garden or inspired by the amazingly productive walled kitchen garden.  The house is let to a private company, Stuart Interiors, who use it as a showroom for their antiques.  The Strode House restaurant offers table-service for lunches and afternoon teas.  Children's trails and family activity packs are available.

We love: the gardening scheme whereby local school-children use part of the kitchen garden to grow and harvest vegetables.
