Description: This fascinating museum set in 36 acres by the South Downs houses a remarkable collection of crafts and trades - from the blacksmith's forge and the woodturner's workshop to the claypipe-maker's shop and the lime grinding mill.  There are also many other areas to explore, including the Connected Earth, which traces the history of telecommunications, and the Electricity Hall. There is a steam train to take visitors through the site between the two stations, and preserved buses take passengers around the site. The Limeburners cafe is open until 17.00, serving hot meals and drinks.
