  These NHS sites are useful sources of information about illnesses, including childhood ones, and guides to identifying whether professional medical help is required, particularly for apparently minor ailments.  The self-help guide recommends a course of action - in some cases to call your doctor.  There is a health encyclopaedia, giving details of illnesses and other information about the NHS.  If you are away from home, but still in the UK, you may find the NHS Direct telephone line more useful - call on 0845 4647.

  This is the website of the Woodcraft Folk - a movement developed in the 1920s by an ex-scout.  Weekly local groups are held in over 500 places around the country, with activities including games, crafts and drama.  Groups are divided up by age group, starting with under-6s, and the oldest being 15 years & over.
