This must be one of the National Trust's
most attractive gardens - in fact the grounds here with the beautiful lake
are probably more famous than the mansion. If it's open when you
visit, the house is well worth exploring, for it's impressive collection of
art and furnishings. There are quizes and family activity packs
available to keep all the family interested. Children will love the
sense of space in the grounds, and there are woodland walks to enjoy as well
the landscaped gardens. |
