This Tudor Manor House is a fascinating
place to visit. It combines a rich history with a vibrant garden. The
garden is famous for its topiary, especially the yew planting that
represents the "Sermon on the Mount". The garden (113 acres) is a great
place for children to run about and explore the open spaces, terraces and
courtyards.
The house and gardens have appeared in many period film and TV dramas, e.g.
the
BBC’s Elizabeth Virgin Queen. |
