This open air museum makes a great day
out for all the family. Experience life of years gone by as you visit
the old houses, chapel, village hall etc. Young children will enjoy
seeing the chickens, goats and other animals. There is a tea room
which serves light lunches and other refreshments, and don't forget to visit
the play area next door. Children will find plenty of interactive
displays in the oast house and discovery room. There is
easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs around most of the museum, but of
course it is not possible to access the upper floors of the historic
cottages and other buildings.
There are some great options for
children's parties, including a stained glass workshop or an animals
workshop. Pottery parties are also available. |
