There can't be many children who don't
love steam engines - and the Lavender Line is a particularly child-friendly
preserved railway. There is just a short stretch of track, but the
short journey means that young children don't get bored.
and for those who want to spend longer on board, train tickets allow
unlimited travel on the day of your visit. Children can operate the
levers in the carefully restored signal box. The Cinders Buffet serves
lunches and snacks, or in good weather you could make use of the picnic
area.
Platform areas are pushchair-friendly
& access ramps are available onto the trains, if required
