The hotel's name comes from the time when
circuit judges used to stay here - and they were certainly put up in a
lovely location. This is a truly luxurious hotel and has been awarded
3 red stars, with the restaurant holding 2 AA rosettes for its excellent
food. The excellence of the food does not mean that children are any
less welcome - indeed service is both courteous and friendly. The rooms are spacious and can easily accommodate a cot and/or extra bed.
The grounds are delightful, and afford an ideal opportunity for children to
let off steam (under supervision because of some water). |
