This charming 500 year-old inn on the
Somerset/Devon border is full of character and has memorabilia galore to
look at while your meal is prepared. There are collectors toys,
pictures of ships, and one room is even laid out as a railway station ticket
office. This is one of those rare pubs where you don't have to
compromise on the quality of the food to get a warm welcome for families;
the food is excellent. In good weather, enjoy a meal in the garden.
Baby-changing facilities are provided in the disabled toilet.
If you're travelling on the M5, it's well
worth the 15 minute drive out of your way to enjoy a relaxed meal here, away
from the bustle of the motorway.
