Chester Zoo is a wonderful place for all
the family to visit, with great facilities for those with babies and young
children. As you'd expect, there are all sorts of animals to see, from
elephants to zebras, giraffes to orang utans. Visit the reptile house
to see snakes, frogs and crocodiles. The penguins are popular with
little ones - there are windows in the pool area, so you can even see them
swimming underwater. Other activities to enjoy at the zoo are the
train, water bus and pot-painting (additional charges).
There are several cafes to choose from, or take a picnic - there's an indoor picnic area for when the weather's not so good. Allow a full day for a visit here - even then you'll probably find you won't have time to see and do everything! |
