This magnificent medieval castle makes a
great day out for all the family. The state rooms are very impressive,
yet have a real lived-in feel, for example with photos of the Northumberland
family on display. Children will have a wonderful time at the
Knight's School, where they can dress up as knights and ladies and have a go
at all sorts of activities, including jousting practice. (Do be
cautious of the Dragon Quest, as this is quite scary and would not be
suitable for very young children). Fans of Harry Potter will be interested
to see where his first flying lesson was filmed. |
