Borde Hill comprises a children's adventure playground, a Grade II listed garden and extensive woodland area. Within the playground, an enclosed area caters for young toddlers, with a small climbing frame and baby swings, and there is a good range of activities for older children. The Lavender Tea Rooms serve light meals and sell a few toys, colouring books and crayons etc to keep little ones amused.  Those preferring a more formal meal should try Jeremy's restaurant, which also has its own small walled garden.

  • Baby food (including organic) for sale
  • Special activities are organised during school holidays, e.g. tractor rides, circus skills workshop, tile painting.
Other Notes
  • The gardens are largely accessible for pushchairs, but there are a few areas which are not suitable, i.e. there are steps. 
  • There are no baby-changing facilities at Jeremy's restaurant, but facilities are available at the Lavender tea rooms which are just next door.
